Hello.

Coming week 3, 2018. Wolf-Extra Ultimate 4SDL.

Wolf-Extra Ultimate was originally meant to be a full 21 level set. Unfortunately I do not have the time for that.

I have made one very special level which I think is as good as my very best ones! :-)

Be prepared for surprises and new special features!

PLEASE NOTE: Wolf-Extra Ultimate requires that you own a registered version of Spear of Destiny by ID Software in order to be played.
See the included txt-file for details.

One of the original ideas behind this mod was to make a general purpose Spear engine with a Wolf3D identity + added features.

It does not include any of the hard-coded special features, or other special features, from some of my games which make them less 'modable'.

It does however include several of my added features, like the following:

The missile launcher (the Tower version).
Exploding barrels with a range.
The cross - death chalice feature.
The chalices as health items (as well as treasures).
The water-feature.
Poison puddles.
4 keys with corresponding locked doors.

My own million points fix.

Being meant for a Wolf3D type of game it does not include the 'spear' item, spear specters or devil.

The engine supports all bosses from Wolf3D (except Gretel), none of them directional.
The Ubermutant and the Death Knight from Spear.
A modified version of Quarkblitz from the lost episodes.
Five different Pac Man ghosts.
A new stationary skull guard with a chaingun.

The 'mecha Hitler' boss will turn into 'real Hitler' as in Wolf3D with the 'stuck Hitler' bug fixed.
The 'real Hitler' boss can be used independant of 'mecha Hitler'.
The 'fake Hitler' shoots a lot faster.

None of the bosses are end game triggers.

You will get ratios (in all three categories) in all levels including boss levels and secret levels.
There are par times for boss levels and secret levels too.

You will start every level with a knife only and 100% health.
The knife is a silent weapon (using it will not alarm other guards).

The mutant cleavers really hurt.

You can not pass items (by side stepping or any other way) without picking them up.

The game may use modified spear audio files in order to support all melodies from Wolf3D.

At present the engine supports only one map (to make the final ratios correct). But I can compile a 21 level version with any number of secret levels.

The engine does not support a 'read this' section and some intro- and end screens will need to be changed/edited for use in a mod.

The 'quit' remarks are changed.
